BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - TELECOMS
MANCHESTER
UP TO £24,000 + £50K OTE

As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for contacting local businesses and pitching the portfolio of products. You will be holding consultative conversations with senior-level executives, before arranging for the field sales team to meet with the prospective client and close the deal.
This role would suit a motivated individual from a Telesales, Business Development, Account Management or Sales background who is wanting to progress their career within a national company and enjoy high earning potential.
** Experience within telecommunications is essential for this role **
THE ROLE:
- As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for calling leads and introducing the portfolio of telecommunication products
- Offering a consultative approach when speaking with senior-level executives in order to fully understand their requirements
- Handling and overcoming objections before setting appointments for the field sales team to meet with the prospective clients face to face
- Update the database to ensure that all customer details are accurate and entered into SalesForce
- Completing administrative work as required
- Working towards set targets and KPI's
THE PERSON:
- At least 6 months experience within B2B telesales / business development / desk / account management / solution sales position
- Experience within the Telecoms, Telecommunications, Business Broadband, Business VoIP Phone, landlines or mobile market is essential
- Ability to offer a consultative approach when speaking with customers
- Target driven with the desire to earn high commission
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate over the phone in an engaging manner
- Computer literate
