SALES LEDGER CLERK
PRESTON
UP TO £25,000

Get Recruited are currently working with a multi-national, market-leading organisation who are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their busy accounts team.
As the Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for setting up new clients and overseeing all sales ledger responsibilities within the business.
This role would suit an individual with a strong background in an accounts assistant/sales ledger/finance assistant role who is seeking the chance to join a highly successful organisation and progress their career.
THE SALES LEDGER CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that correct procedures and processes have been completed for all new projects, such as sending out client engagement letters
- Management and control of project code set up and staff charge-out rates
- Ensure than all timesheets are completed on time
- Check that rechargeable expenses are charged on
- Prepare draft invoices
- Work closely with senior members of staff of the validation of proposed monthly invoicing, raise invoices and process them
- Support the reconciliation of monthly revenue to the time recording system
- Complete any other duties required
THE PERSON:
- At least 1 years' experience within a Sales Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable, Finance assistant role is essential
- Strong IT skills, in particular, Excel
- Accounting qualification is preferred but not essential
- Experience of using an accounts system such as Dynamics 365
- Strong customer service background
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
